Global Outreach Day
What would it look like if every Christian went out on the same day and shared the Gospel of Jesus with at least one person? Global Outreach Day (G.O.D.) is always the last Saturday in May. It is set aside specifically to do just that, share the Gospel of Jesus with one person. We are seeking to gather at least 100 Christians that would like to come out on May 25th and be a part of bringing hope for good in Ruskin. This will primarily be done through prayer walking on that day. Bethel Family Worship Center, located 10801 Ruskin Way, Kansas City, MO 64134 in Ruskin Heights, will be hosting the base camp for G.O.D. The GX International hip-hop dance team will be performing on stage along with other talents throughout the day. We know many people may not have experience with prayer walking or street type evangelism, so we have people ready to set up training events prior to G.O.D to prepare you and your church.
Regardless of your location in Kansas City, this could be your time to engage in the mission field by supporting your brothers and sisters of Ruskin Heights. We are looking for churches and organizations that may have services they can offer this community.
Ruskin Walk & Pray
A woman that runs nonprofits in South KC had heard about Ruskin Walk & Pray. We met and she said that crime rates have dropped over 60% during the last 2 years in Ruskin. She’s convinced it’s because we’ve been doing Ruskin Walk & Pray for the last 2 years! So, she’ll be helping or on Global Outreach Day.
Come help us change lives in this area and pray in an incredible outreach opportunity right here in Ruskin Heights called Global Outreach Day this May 25th.
