Ed grew up on a dairy farm near Coffeyville, KS, in a family of 10 children. He has had a variety of work experience, including Christian ministry, painting, truck driving, and various other occupations. Ed became a Christian in 1972, and a year later he met Pam, the lady who would become his wife. They married in 1978 and are the grateful parents of six children and 13 grandchildren.

Ed and Pam became Kansas City residents in 2015, and began attending Grace Point in 2020. They are grateful to be part of such a dynamic and loving fellowship.
